“A New You – Retreat for Women”

A Haven for Rest and Spiritual Reconnection and

an Opportunity to Rejuvenate both Externally and Internally

“A New You-Retreat for Women” has been changing the lives of women for over 18 years. Originally hosted by BYU-Hawaii, and held on their campus for 15 years, “A New You, Retreat for Women” is now held at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. This program has, since its inception, always upheld the standards and values of the LDS church.

  • You can now attend this wonderful program for $350.00 (no classes or services have been eliminated).  Check in and check out time time to be announced.
  • After checking out of the hotel, stay for a book signing with Barbara and for a tour through the beautiful and serene gardens! (Extra cost for the gardens)

Frequently Asked Questions

Tuition

Tuition is $350.00 for the three day retreat camp. This includes tuition, food, program supplies, salon visit with make over. Payment can be done with a $150.00 deposit with the remaining balance to be paid by July 15, 2012,  or pay the entire amount at time of registration. Housing and Airfare are not included. You will need to set up your own housing.  You can choose to stay at home, find a hotel of your choice near by or book with the Hampton Inn, near Thanksgiving Point, where we have blocked rooms and a discount set up. 801-766-1186. The discount is $89/night.  You will need to find your own roommates to share a room, or call our office (800) 989-3309 to request help finding a roommate.  We will keep a running list of who needs a roommate to defray costs. Enrollment will stop after the first 150 registrants.

Check In

Check in: Monday, July 30th at 8 am at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point! If there are any changes to this check in time, they will be included in the packet you will receive in a few months.

Travel Assistance

If you need a ride from the airport to Thanksgiving Point, please call Express Shuttle Airport at 801 586-1600 to make advance reservations for a ride to and from your hotel.  Their check-in desk for all Delta flights is across from baggage claim #7 in Terminal 2 and all other airlines are in Terminal 1 across from baggage claim 3. Lost Items

Please call the the office for lost items. 801-766-5006. We are not responsible for lost items.

Insurance

Each participant is included in a limited coverage ($2,500 maximum benefit) accident insurance policy while they are under the direction and supervision of Retreat for Women.  If they leave the campus, they are not covered by our insurance. The insurance does not cover illness (such as cold symptoms, stomach aches, etc.) or pre-existing conditions.  Participants will be responsible for any costs associated with treatment in event of an emergency. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

In order to receive a full registration refund for the 2012 programs, a cancellation request must be received in writing by May 30, 2012.  After that date, there will be a $100 cancellation fee. A New You - Retreat for Women cannot be held responsible for any change or cancellation charges required by airlines, travel agencies, or other establishments. A refund may take up to two weeks.
